Apple Blossom

[Top - New Look : Shorts - Topshop : Shoes - Strutt : Necktie - H&M : Bag - New Look]

Hello!
Some of you asked where the fan featured in my previous post was from...
I can tell you that it was a bit of a random purchase from Accessorize last year for £4, which I think is very reasonable indeed! The feather detail is pretty much what did it for me, I couldn't resist!

I think fans are a great little accessory, and are not only pretty but functional too - especially now the hotter seasons are upon us! They are one of the more elegant means of cooling off. Also, I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves the idea of sitting in the garden, fanning myself whilst sipping a cool glass of fruit juice?

For a while I have really wanted a pretty timepiece charm necklace, and I think I've found the perfect one!
What do you think?

Its priced at $24 from Modcloth which I think is reasonable, but I'm not sure if I'd want to pay shipping costs to the UK, eek!
I guess I shall have to wait until pay day and see what I can do :)

I am also hoping this will be the month I'll have enough money to give the blog the makeover I'm so desperate for - lets hope Tesco have been extra generous this month, eh?

I hope you'll all have a great weekend whatever your plans are!
x

i really like your outfit, my favourite is the first picture. The look is really soft and summery, and also very different - a la fan! Your ring about functionality, as without one its normally resorted to the closet piece of paper wrapped up wafting.

The watch is quite nice, i love long necklaces, so i think its a really cool look with a cute or big clock. Plus you'll never forget the time again! Its good to be wary of buying stuff from overseas due to import costs and delivery which can add up to a lot. ASOS have had some plainer ones in for a while, and i guess you could always check etsy,

Damn you look fine! :) I really like the 'softness' of the pictures as well.
I had a bout of clock jewelry obsession last year, bought a vintage cuckoo clock shaped clock pendant off ebay and everything :) As for modcloth, I keep drooling over their stuff too, but it's a bit expensive for me at this point.
HOWEVER, The Clothes Horse has a 10% off the entire order coupon code on her sidebar ("HORSES"), valid until Aug 1, so if you do decide to go for the necklace, this could ease the pain on the wallet a little :) (I've seen similar codes on a few other blogs as well, so maybe you already have one anyway, but thought I'd still mention it, just in case!)

Thanks so much for your comments! I have your blog bookmarked and love seeing your outfits so it was a great surprise to see you've stumbled upon my site as well. I love this watch necklace from ModCloth too. If you decide to go with one from my shop in the end you can use the coupon code 'BlogDiscount' for 15% off. International shipping is only $4 so that's a bonus too. Thanks again Katie!
