Hello!
I'm still alive and well :) and am now living by the Medway in Rochester, Kent.
I have just started my studies in Fashion Promotion and am already enjoying the immense of time each day spent discussing fashion, its brilliant!

I will admit to finding it a little tricky keeping up with blogging - being in Somerset can be truly uninspiring I'm afraid. BUT, to coincide with my move I am moving the blog and am giving it a revamp; so to anyone who has been checking back, or is indeed interested in reading in the future - thank you, and watch this space :)

Pink And Pearls

How much am I in love with my new headband?
Something about it reminded me of Pride and Prejudice, although I'm fairly sure these kinds of headbands were not to be seen anywhere back in those days haha.

Wow, I have had a great few days :) I have some purchases to share with you soon, too - I'm making the most of being able to spend my money on what I like before I start university (in just over 2 weeks, scaryyy! I have had some good luck too in the money department, a long lost relative had left me some money which has finally come through, I'm a happy bunny indeed! That's not to say I'll be out spending it - I've done the (boring) sensible thing and put it into my building society :)

Thank you for all of your sweet comments on the photos I posted last time, you're all very kind! I decided that I would love long hair permanently, so whilst I'm waiting for my hair to grow I'm going to wear extensions again - managed to find some today that are a much better mach than the ones from the photos!

I've always loved to reinvent myself, and I fell this is a fun way of doing this! I am also liking that I can wear different hair accessories that I couldn't before.

It doesn't take much to keep me happy, haha.
I hope you've all had a good week - I have a good, but busy weekend ahead, just the way they should be!

I have had a rare few days off from work this week, so Rachel and I had a bit of an impromptu photo shoot on Saturday after our beach trip fell through! I know the use of farms in fashion photography is a little 'cliche', but its a first for me and was fun having a different environment to shoot in - makes a nice change from shooting in the fields by my house!

I'm still editing up some of the shots, but am on the case and uploading them onto a Flickr account (how unlike me?!) so if you'd like to see the rest of the shots you can do so by clicking the above photograph :)

I Heart Alexa

Word on the street is that this girl is a rather snappy dresser - of course, I have not been previously oblivious to the charms of Ms Chung (how could I be?!) but of late I am feeling a whole new appreciation for her and her wardrobe decisions!

That's not to say that her style hasn't been 'done before', I'd be lying if I said I hadn't seen a thousand other girls dressed in variations of this 'eclectic' style; but its the fact that Alexa does it again and again so tirelessly, and she always manages to mix it up in a way which keeps us dazzled! I love the simplicity of the Calvin Klein shift dress accompanied by some well chosen accessories, and don't you think that shade of blood red is just to die for?

You'll be pleased to know that the 'I Heart Ronson' (yet another of the now infamous Ronson clan!) line sports many fun pieces, and most pleasingly, the price tag won't give you a heart attack either, phew :) You can check out the fall collection here at JC Penney!

Little Boots

Hello!

I'm finally writing to you from my sparkly new Macbook! It feels so good to have my own laptop again. Unfortunately, my previous laptop has packed up completely now - RIP my friend, we had a good run.

As you may or may not be aware, the UK's second largest Primark has just opened up in Bristol, wahay! I find it kind of ironic that we now have Cabot Circus, and this new addition, after years of having nowhere to shop... just as I'm about to leave for university! I might add, I'm starting to feel slightly freaked out about the idea of moving away from home, but its going to be such an adventure, I can't wait!

Today I am wearing a shirt stolen from my mum, and my new boots! I'm not exaggerating when I say I fell hard for the boots, ahhh. As soon as I saw them in the window, I knew they had to be mine. And at £15, why on earth would I walk away? They're the most perfect jade colour (my favourite) and to add to that, are comfortable enough for everyday wear - result! They also add a touch of va va voom to the gloomiest outfit, I think. Perfecto :) I should also probably get myself my own denim shirt; my mum has a small enough selection of clothes, without me stealing them from her!

I must say, I am finding it a little bit tricky to adapt to a Mac way of doing things, but I'm getting there :) Please forgive me if the photos are a little shoddy, navigating around a new version of Photoshop is no easy task for me!

Beach tomorrow I hope, fingers crossed for sunshine again!
